Paying $404 for a one night stay, I was expecting more than a basic stay. On arrival the check in staff was pleasant. When I got to my room - the room felt basic. The soap dispenser wasn’t working (had actually come off the wall). The shower gel dispenser was also not working. Note: the friendly checkin staff quickly replaced the above. The toilet flusher was problematic. The shower pressure and lack of hot water was also a disappointment. I was told they provided 24hr room service. Unfortunately the QR code (when scanned) only allowed you to select from the drinks menu. I had to go down to reception (I was on the 12th floor) - the night shift staff unfortunately wasn’t as helpful- their response was “use one of the delivery services (Uber eats) to order food in” In the morning when I tried ironing my shirt, the iron washed my shirt rather than ironed it (cheap quality iron that spat out more water than steam)
