Very convenient , close to the main areas , places to eat . The room was very good , the only weird thing we found was that the bathroom/ shower wall area that divided it from the bedroom is made from clear glass , a little bit awkward and unpleasant , not for everybody to like it .

it was very easy to check in/access the property and the owners are very easy to contact. the room was very clean and nice. the lobby of the building weirdly smelled like sewage, but that was unnoticeable in the room.

The property was spacious and comfortable. The extra throw blankets were a very nice touch. Location was perfect. Like most city center properties there wasn't a lot of natural light in the room and the view looks at a building wall. Overall, it's a good value, though. I recommend.

Location! This hotel is walking distance to all the good and interesting things in the city. Even stop 1 for the tourist bus. Restaurants and things to do everywhere. The room was spacious and clean. Will definitely recommend.

House & Home was clean and well maintained. Gloria was a great help and very cordial. She was available by phone at all times. The property was renovated and in a location in the center or Valencia, just a short walk off the main square in the historic district. Lots of shopping and dining option close by. Fantastic location in a great city.

My tired 11yo daughter and I loved this place. We'd been travelling a fair bit and this room was a joy to find. Our room was already cool in preparation and absolutely IMMACULATE. Actually faultless, large and airy, very modern and effective fixtures, fittings etc. Quality bedding, very quiet internally but well situated for restaurants, shopping and transport. We walked everywhere and the main train station is probably less than 10m. If you want to go anywhere by train I'd suggest booking online to save faffing at the station. We're coming back to Valencia again very soon and I hope to book Host and Home again. Definitely recommend to anyone.

This property uses auto-check-in: pass codes for the front door and room. First time experience for me. I was suppose to get a message with the codes before I arrived, but didn’t. So some confusion there. But once you know the routine, you can bypass a front desk wait and go directly to your room.

Excellent Place!
The place is fantastic, well located, and the rooms are beautiful. In fact, it is the second time that I stay here. My only recommendation is that given that there is no reception service between 14:00 hrs and 10:00 am, it'd be great if they had a vending machine in the first floor with soda, water, beer, and wine. I wanted to have some water at around 3:00 am cause I could not sleep and there was nothing to buy in the hotel nor stores open nearby. This vending machine will increase revenue for the hotel and add convenience for the people who stay there.

La habitacion en general estaba ok. Faltaba al menos 1 frigobar o heladerita pequeña. El baño deja mucho que desear, si te bañas se moja todo, no hay mampara o vidrio, no te dejan trapos para secar, las paredes de vidrio mal puestas sacan toda la intimidad.

Great location central to old town. It’s a pretty basic setup and ok for a night or two, but due to the strong smell of sewer in my room and some very dusty surfaces, I wouldn’t stay longer. The halls were also dark and I needed to use my phone light to navigate when I returned at night.

Good location, very helpful staff, clean room. We didn't like the black wallpaper, but loved the brick wall. The shower was good, but the shampoo sachets were too small and very difficult to open. Great that there was a kettle, but even when it was changed it was still usable due to the absolutely terrible smell inside the kettle, it had been washed out with something very nasty. Maybe get stainless steel kettles rather than plastic.

Pleasant, central room.
Nice room, two small balconies and welcome air-conditioning. The street is pretty quiet, although very central. The lift was broken when i arrived but was fixed quickly. There's a fridge, and the shower good.

The appartement was very damp and humid, had only a little window to a very dirty inside court. When I arrived, I called to ask if it was possible to get another room and was told it was my fault, as I was the one to have chosen the room online. I never picked a room that was humid! So they offered to give me another room, at extra cost. they would never want to realize it was their issue that this room was terrible and not the guest's! Terrible, terrible service.

This place is excellent value for money. Situated down an unprepossessing pedestrian side street, it is in the heart of Valencia old town. While reception is only open from 11.00 to 15.00 and check-in in person from 14.00 to 15.00, they have a very clever "virtual check-in" process which issues the guest with a 4 digit code for the front door and another for their room. Very clean, with a small desk and kettle and coffee. The walk in shower is very roomy. I would stay here again.
