"I stayed at this hotel 4 nights for a business trip. The entire stay was disappointing. I was told the room could only be cleaned every three days, but that this was not guaranteed because they were having trouble with housekeeping. The room was not cleaned at all during my stay. The hallways and stairways were unvacuumed and most rooms had bags of garbage piled outside the doors. My sink had no drain cover, just an open hole with a slow drain. The toilet was also a slow drain. Two mornings I did not have hot water. My room key failed to work and had to be re-set, which is understandable, but it just added to my frustration. The internet went out one evening, and that included the television. There were no glasses or cups in the room, and no ice bucket. The police were there one evening, escorting someone out of the hotel. Perhaps this was a positive sign, but it added to the sense of gloom and disaster that permeated this hotel environment. The staff were not unkind, but they seemed frustrated and overwhelmed. I am glad I didn't spend too much time in the room, and even gladder when it was time to check out and come home."

"Overnight Mother's Day trip was a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express I55 South location. Normally would lodge at Hampton Inn next door when I visited St. Louis but definitely found better at Holiday Inn express. Staff was very nice and breakfast was a big winner with Bacon 😉"

"Great place to stay. Super clean property and rooms. We did get ants in our room but I did leave food out. Beds were comfortable and it got super cold and nice black out curtains. The coffee station and ice cream machine were nice. I would give it 9/10"

"This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.the first room the toilet was not bolted down the room was unclean . The next room wasn't much better. The breakfast was horrible. And the worst part of the stay some one passed out across the hall way and I was unable to get back to my room it took almost 25 mins before any one checked on him the another 10 before they called emt."

"Hotel seemed recently renovated and room was clean and well maintained. While seemingly slightly off the beaten path, it wasn't far to a lot of dining options, and the location made it fairly quiet while not far from the freeway."
