8.2/10 Very good! (642 reviews)
We loved our stay at Les Chambres d’Or .The location in Rome was absolutely perfect for us. While it was a little tricky to find at first since it’s located on the 3th floor of a building, it was completely worth it. The space was super clean, and the decor was a really nice touch. We would definitely return and will be recommending it to all our friends! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

7.2/10 Good! (225 reviews)
I've seen some previous reviews regarding cold water and bugs but I haven't experienced any of it and the room was cleaned/towels replaced everyday. Toilet seat doesn't match the toilet shape so that's rather random. The bed was comfortable. The air con keeps the room cool which is great but it makes noise, so I actually had it off at night. I could hear people/tv from the rooms next door, so it's not overly private, but once the window was closed there was no noise from the road. The breakfast buffet was very basic and the food doesn't change, everyday same type of stuff was out making it boring after couple of days. Coffee machine, one type of ham and salami, one type of bread, ready made cheese sandwichies, some jams, chocolate spreads, pastries, two types of cereals and some fruit. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a lift but it's very small and super slow, we actually used stairs quite often (from 4th floor) to go down as the lift took ages to arrive. The location was the best bit about this hotel, 20min walking distance to the colosseum and other attractions near by. Plenty of restaurants near by, but loads of them serve the same menu. We ended up eating Chinese after few days of pasta and pizzas. Close to the main train station so convenient for transport to the airport and back. We also used a train to get closer to the Vatican City and the train to get to the seaside for a day. Overall my stay was what I expected from a hotel and a city break.
