The Victorian seaside town of Ventnor is one of the sunniest spots on the island, and is home to the botanical gardens which is unrivalled for its collections of sub-tropical plants grown unprotected out of doors. For the active holidays goers there is breath-taking coastline to ramble across and when you have walked enough, why not treat yourself to some local fish and chips and a glass of wine to end your day…bliss! You can look forward to enjoying a drink with a view at the Spyglass Inn, and you won’t be wondering around long to find an appealing restaurant to enjoy some delicious food for all taste buds!

Right on your doorstep you will find a number of lovely seaside tea shops, pubs and restaurants dotted along the esplanade. There are also some quirky and bespoke shops, a park and a children’s paddling pool. The town, which for the most part is built on the steep hill leading to the beach, retains its original seaside charm and makes a great day out for all the family.
