"In their own description, there is lots of stairs for most rooms and no TV’s. This is not a regular hotel. It’s more like staying at your grandmothers house. Very Victorian. Also, no AC. Rooms have fans. But in the summer it could be nasty. We had cool nights so we slept just fine with the windows open. There isn’t much to do right around the hotel so you’re either going to be canning lots or walking a distance. We rented a car and that was needed and worked well. The property itself we did enjoy very much. I would highly recommend know the quirks going in."

"Staff are friendly and courteous. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out they were all super helpful and guided us to the fun places to visit and the fine restaurants in the area. Hotel is spotless and located in a very central area. Our deep and sincere gratitude to all the staff at Rialto who made our trip pleasant and welcoming. Will definitely stay at Rialto during our next visit!!"

"Fabulous little apartment in great location to the harbour and a short down hill 1 block walk to the BC Ferries shuttle bus for transport to Vancouver. Apartment had a bedroom plus another bed in the living area as well as a couch. Found the second bed in living room a bit odd as we had booked a 1 bedroom apartment for 2 people. Microwave, sink and small fridge handy to have. Great for families. Restaurant upstairs has fine dining and was very good"

"Every morning there was a delicious and delightful breakfast. Generally, scones and a choice of fruit or yogurt parfait and a hot entree. Always nicely presented. Eating in the main dining room provided the opportunity to enjoy breakfast with other guests. Staff were happy to make restaurant and activity recommendations. Room was fantastic. Would definitely recommend this Bed and Breakfast"
