"Room clean hotel staff lovely great location shame about the cask. Unfortunately we were refused service at the cask bar as we hadn’t reserved a table to get a drink!!. We had only wanted one drink before returning to our room no food needed as we had already eaten and there were plenty of seats available and yet the staff member said he couldn’t serve us at 9.30pm. As a couple staying in the hotel we didn’t require service from the waiter only the barman. We needed up going elsewhere I find it ridiculous that you had to reserve a seat to have a drink"
