"We came to Queenstown, my second time but not for years and my hubby and 2 kids first time - we had the BEST time didnt want to leave! Kamana was so beautiful - amazing views, great loca food, and clean comfortable rooms For us, we didn’t mind it being located in Fernhill which is just up and out of the Queenstown centre - as we would walk down to the city centre through the forest every morning and then catch a bus or taxi back up the hill at night - but for those who want quick or flat access to the centre bear jn mind Kamana is located up higher - that’s what gives the spectacular views!!! Nest the restaurant had delicious food - the breakfasts were incredible and we also had the degustation dinner which was fantastic - kids loved it too - only minor suggestions would be that bacon or avo be included as an option for kids eggs in the morning (as it is for the adults) and perhaps some yoghurt alongside the cereal and fruit - but the food offered couldn’t fault it - absolutely LOVED the homemade crumpets with sautéed field mushrooms/spinach and almond ricotta. Ambience was calm, warm and stylish - great architecture and interior design. The focus is on the sensational views. We had 9 and 5 year old boys with us and they loved the hotel also - all the staff were friendly and accommodating. Want to also thabk the cleaning staff as they alway would pop my son’s Mario toy on the bed for him each day ready for his night time sleep - very sweet!"

"Stunning views of lake and mountains out every window! Chef-prepared cook-to-order breakfast (delicious!) We enjoyed the sauna, wood-fire hot tub, and plush robes. Comfortable lounge with floor to ceiling windows; I curled up there to read a good book and have a cup of tea in the evenings. Lodge had not many rooms, so it was quiet and felt very private. Staff was wonderful, very welcoming and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend any higher."

"It was excellent in many ways and a real gem. However, the shared bathrooms were very far from the cabins if you're someone who needs to go in the middle of the night."

"A magical place in beautiful setting with unbelievable views. Lovely, charming staff and managers made everything easy and enjoyable. Excellent food with multiple choices and a tasting menu with wine pairings that was perfect each night, a great surprise given the small size of the lodge. Definitely one of my most memorable stays! Worthy of the cost."

"Stayed in Queenstown for a few days. What a great view from the deck staring out over lake Wakatipu and the mountains. Very cottage type feel and the pool table was a bonus. Even had a stovetop espresso machine which makes everything good in the mornings. Very nice feel to the neighborhood."

"The property is exactly as described and the views look even better in person. the property manager was extremely communicative and responsive to all messages. The property was the perfect distance outside of town to be away from some of the traffic but close enough to get there in 5ish minutes via car or slightly longer walk. The hot tub and deck is out of this world with an amazing view. Would recommend this to any of my closest friends or family if they were visiting Queenstown. "
