"I love, LOVE the Great George and have stayed there numerous times over the years. My suite was superb, well-appointed and spotlessly clean. The staff, as always, was friendly and extremely professional. For those new to Charlottetown, the location of the Great George is perfect - it's an easy walk to all of the downtown attractions and amenities. A++"

"The owners have done a great job updating and maintaining an affordable motel. It's less than 5 minutes from the airport and easy access to town and the bypass. Our room (in the newer building) didn't have anywhere to put our clothes if we wanted to unpack and didn't have an iron or ironing board. The ends were firm but comfortable. Our room had a brand new full sized fridge, over and cooktop, microwave and toaster. We would stay there again. It's a good budget option and better than you would expect for the price relative to other hotels."

"This is a unique and very beautiful resort that I would highly recommend. We loved that it was by the ocean with a beautiful walking trail along the shore. The surrounding countryside was peaceful so peaceful. Just what we were looking for! It was an easy drive to Charlottetown and a great location for exploring the rest of the Island."

"The room was clean and comfortable although noisy the first night due to young people running up and down the hall (I think there was a sports tournament in town). The hotel itself, particularly where our room was in a second floor hallway at the back side of the building, was dingy and not clean. The stair carpets in this area were stained with what looked like vomit or who can say what. Caution if you stay on the second floor in the far left side of the building, as the floor drops down >half a foot from the stair well entrance AND directly outside of your room door. I witnessed numerous people tripping and one person fall as a result of this very weird building design. Both days we stayed, the smell of marijuana was heavy at the back of the building where we entered to access our room. The staff were helpful and pleasant, the breakfast was sufficient and the front lobby was satisfactory. We did not use the pool and would have used the gym, except that the main piece of equipment within was out of order. I would not stay here again simply because I don't think the money we paid aligned with the experience or state of the place."
