"The overall space was nice for our stay, the rooms looked super cute and the kitchen was beautiful. The floors aren't the flattest though and little bugs would get in here and there probably because we are in a more nature heavy area. Note: the local area doesn't have much around so you'll have to travel further for activities."

"Words cannot describe this home. The pics don't do it justice. The total experience was fantastic. Quite, super comfortable, you have to see it to really believe it. Amazing animals, location.We stay at ALOT of VRBO's and this one has been by far the best we have ever stayed at. Totally stocked with anything you need."

"Overall our stay here was pleasant. The A/C kept up with the extreme heat outside (a definite plus when it's over 100 outside). There was plenty of space for gathering, or getting away if you wanted some quiet time. The beds were comfy and all the bedrooms had ceiling fans (a big plus!). Kitchen was spacious and had most everything we needed (except there were no garbage bags -- not even one in the garbage can when we arrived, so plan on bringing some.) But they did supply plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. Location was very quiet, yet convenient to everything we wanted to do. Note: Internet connection info is in one of the bedrooms upstairs. The biggest negative was communication with the owner. We asked questions a month before our booking and never heard back. Maybe it was an off time for them. All in all, it was a pleasant stay."

"From the moment we arrived, this property felt like a serene oasis on the river. The grounds were beautifully maintained, with freshly cut grass and meticulous landscaping that immediately set the tone for a relaxing stay.Walking into the home, we were greeted by the fresh, clean scent of what felt like an upscale boutique hotel. The house was spotless, well-organized, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, including coffee, kitchen utensils, dishes, dining essentials, and plenty of fresh towels.The owners clearly put a great deal of care into creating an exceptional guest experience. We especially appreciated the abundance of amenities available to enjoy, including kayaks, games, a fire pit, and a beautiful waterfront setting complete with a private boat dock. Evenings spent around the bonfire overlooking the river were a highlight of the trip.The location is ideal—peaceful and secluded, yet only a short drive from Wilmington and some of North Carolina’s beautiful beaches. Whether you’re looking to relax with friends, enjoy a glass of wine by the water, go fishing, kayak, or simply unwind and disconnect, this property is the perfect getaway.We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and memorable retreat."
