"Honeysuckle cottage is clean, modern and comfortable. The space inside the property has been optimised to provide all of the facilities that you need to make this a great base for a visit to the area. Probably not ideal if you have a couple of kids as the living space is small - although in the summer you'll be able to use the small enclosed garden.Ian the host is really friendly and the communication before and during our stay was ideal.We'd happily go back!"

"I am extremely disappointed with the service provided. I booked a queen bed with a sea view through Expedia and paid an additional amount for this upgrade. However, upon arrival, I was allocated a room with a double bed instead. After noticing the discrepancy, I contacted Expedia, who confirmed that my booking was indeed for a queen bed. I then went to reception to have the issue resolved. Despite this confirmation, the front desk staff maintained that the bed type was only available upon request and chose not to address the issue. As this was a long-planned holiday for my husband and me, I did not wish to escalate the situation further at the time. However, the experience has left me very disappointed. I would also like to raise a serious concern regarding how this matter was handled. I felt that I was treated unfairly, and the interaction left me questioning whether I was treated differently based on my race. This is a matter I do not take lightly and would appreciate it being reviewed carefully. Overall, I am dissatisfied with the service received and would not recommend this property. I would appreciate your prompt response to this matter."

"Stayed for two nights over the bank-holiday weekend. Our room was fairly small, but had a great sea view, and we were lucky enough to have a private balcony. The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The shower was good, and we weren't disturbed by other guests. Breakfast included a good range of both hot and cold options, although on the hotel was very busy on the weekend we stayed and I think they were struggling to keep up. The dining room was spacious and had great views. We were lucky and managed to get a free parking space right outside the hotel. There is a car park just over the road if not, however it does get very busy. The hotel is within walking distance of the town centre and the beaches. I would happily stay here again."

"Room 4 was smaller than expected, it’s deluxe but there was nothing deluxe about it. We stayed for 2 nights and it was okay for the price we paid. Other guests leaving really early made loads of noise by slamming their door and the front doors. "

"Lovely hotel, beautiful views and comfy rooms. Breakfast was nice but a shame you pay extra for anything outside the continental. Would need aircon if it got any hotter than when we were there. Would definitely stay again."

"I love this place - it’s my third stay - the tranquility is second to none - love the log burners - easy access to St Ives town on foot - hot tub is great - porth kidney/carbis bay beaches all nearby - Tescos have the best on line delivery drivers btw - all good & will be re-booking xx"
