"Amazing views, big spacious rooms, great breakfast and in the heart of shanklin. We went to celebrate a 70th with the girls and celebrated at the Tommy Bradshaw's. Could not have asked for a better time. Love Shanklin, loved the hotel and loved Tommy Bradshaw's. Definitely recommend a visit"

"This was a find of the best kind. Positioned adjacent to the esplanade & overlooking the beach from a ‘cliff top’ position, it was better than I expected. I had a small double room with view from a side window which I thought might mean I would have to press my nose against the window but it was a fabulous view of the beach & Shanklin Chine area, as well as the town & beyond to the other side. I watched the sun set over the downs. Salma & her staff were friendly & kind, nothing was too much trouble. The meals, breakfast was full English with good selection of cereals plus cooked food, & dinner, oh my, I chose the sea bass which came with vegetables & it was the best I have tasted! Sunday mornings breakfast was serenaded by a Chap playing the piano, the dining area was either in or next to a conservatory across the entire front of the building overlooking the sea. I’d definitely come again. Oh, & there’s free parking on site!"

"A nice hotel 10minutes walk from Sandown Beach. Staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet location, although if you are travelling by car do not use the postcode on your satnav as you’ll end up in a neighbours garden. Hotel is part of a coach holiday group and is very much geared to those visitors. Self service full English breakfast was ok, but we didn’t see fresh fruit or yogurt and the juice and cereals were limited and set apart from the main breakfast ingredients on the other side of the room. No fridge or safe in the room. Stayed Fri-Mon early October, so the hotel was quiet. I would imagine it would be a lot busier during the summer months."

"The hotel is well maintain and the public areas are a pleasant place to spend time. Decor/furnishing is fun and good quality. The rooms are a good size and the bed was very comfortable. The pool area is not huge, but is a pleasant place to spend some time. Parking is limited. Sadly, I had an issue with dinner and breakfast. The website had stated that their was food available in the evening during peak season, but that was not the case. The website seems to have been updated to reflect this. Breakfast is served from 8am to 10am, which I found a little limited as I was travelling for work. Sadly, the doors to the restaurant were still closed at 8.05am, so I was forced to make alternative arrangements. Small things to fix, but overall good."

"Our stay was luvly, right qhere we wanted to be very cl8se to the beach, rooms very comfortable and clean.Rosemary and David are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are brilliant, we had something different each day and no complaints from us and the warm lemon drizzle cake was divine."
