"The house has a lot of character and sits right on the lake. Although the lake view from the house is partly blocked by trees, it wasn’t a big deal. The limited boat traffic made paddleboarding and kayaking especially peaceful. The sand-box volleyball court was a fun bonus — we even used it for a game of frisbee!While there weren’t any deer on the property itself, we saw plenty while driving around and kayaking. It’s a beautiful lake house overall.The house has one bathroom and no washer or dryer, but guests are welcome to use the washer and dryer at the hosts’ home next door. Shelly clearly mentions this in the property description. Both Shelly and Chuck were incredibly gracious and communicative — truly the most attentive hosts we’ve ever had."
