"The room was very dark with poor lighting. No lamp at desk. Was up early and went downstairs to read hoping for better lighting. At 630 am they were playing lousy music loudly in the lobby making it difficult to even read. No excuse for that tonedeaf stupidity"

"The view, especially at sunset is absolutely beautiful. With the gorgeous building and the view of the water, it felt like we were in the Mediterranean. The host was attentive, accommodating and kind. The space was clean, had everything we needed and then some. The parking was a little tricky for the unit we were in but definitely workable and absolutely worth it! It is in a neighborhood but close to great restaurants, grocery store and pharmacy. It was nice to be able to run quickly for things without having to sit in Austin traffic while being close enough to activities and points of interest to make it convenient. "

"Room was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable. The gym was not giant but clean with well working equipment. Would have loved a hot tub!"

"We loved the location. This is a true 5 star experience- perfect Lake Austin location. Walk to the Ski Shores cafe; swim in the pool or hot tub. Catch bass off the boat dock. The views from the second story boat house just melt any stress away from you. Dr J is a superb host- very clear and prompt communication with him. Would stay again"

"It was fine - seemed a little run down. Not a cute updated place but feels like a house someone moved out of in 1995 or so and put some beds in to rent out- left the nails in the walls etc. Furniture a bit worn out. Bothered me that sheets were rolled up in weird places because it made me feel like mine might not be clean then but they seemed ok. Dishes - especially the plastic ones for outside seemed dirty. The washer didn’t work. I want an experience when I do an vrbo it wasn’t good or bad - but functional and value was better thann2 of us stying in a hotel. The view was good and we had 6 deer in the backyard one day which was neat. Potential"
