"We just stayed four nights at this hotel. We enjoyed the location of the property—not to far from Leyburn, Hawes, or Grassington. Good location for short and long walks or hikes. You can walk to the falls from the hotel, and there are footpaths if you want to walk to all three falls. That was fun. Just a quick drive to visit Bolton Castle—worth the visit. We enjoyed the breakfasts—nice selection of pastries, cereals and fruit. And, the selection of hot items on the breakfast menu was good, as well. We had dinner there on three nights of our stay—we were very happy with everything we ordered. Our room was clean, and a very nice size. The bed was comfortable. The bar had a nice selection of beer, cocktails, and wine. It was a nice place to meet other people during our stay. All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again."

"Westburn Cottage was a lovely converted barn, offering all the home comforts you could wish for, along with stunning views of the Yorkshire Dales.There are some beautiful walks right from the cottage, and it’s ideally located for exploring the area’s spectacular waterfalls, historic market towns and fascinating caves. Wherever we went, there was always a lovely coffee shop nearby to enjoy a well-deserved coffee and slice of cake!We had a lovely holiday, exploring the Yorkshire Dales and enjoyed lots of walking. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and some of our favourite places included Hardraw Force, Aysgarth Falls, Hawes and Malham Cove, just to name a few.A fantastic base for exploring this lovely part of Yorkshire."

"Our first impression as we opended the door was WOW! Such a treat to be able to stay in an old wheel house. The decor, furnishing and little touches are high end. There is absolutely nothing I can fault with it. It's set in a beautiful location with amenties i.e. a pub close by in a pretty quiet little village. I'd loved to return one day. Thank you for sharing your property with us."
