"Great location, great accommodation and great host! There are several pubs within easy reach and a great central location for exploring the dales. Accommodation is well appointed and the host Phil made sure everything was spot on."

"We thought it needed a bit of TLC. The garden consisted of a gravelled area with a small rusty table, not as shown on the photo. Bulbs needed replacing. The TVs were very complicated to operate. The twin bedroom one wasn't working. There wouldn't have been enough cutlery for 4 people. It's a shame, because it could be lovely."

"River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too. Beds are well made and comfortable and the bathrooms have everything you need from shampoo and conditioner to hand soap. Highly recommend a stay here, it’s a shame we couldn’t have stayed longer, it’s an excellent base to explore the area from."
