"This was my second stay at this hotel and I did notice some changes, some good, some not. My room looked refreshed, but it had no wall decor and seemed unfinished, but immaculately clean. There was nowhere comfortable to sit, but the bed was extremely good to sleep on. The outbuilding in which my room was situated had a large foyer, strangely decorated with two hard chairs and an ironing board. My room heater wouldn't turn on, and the receptionist told me it was centrally controlled and would turn it on. That was fine for the first night, but didn't work on the second. I did not have breakfast on site, but dinner was quite good, as was service and price. In summary, the room price was extraordinarily low and more than compensated for the flaws noted. But I'd rather pay more to have the heat go on."

"A wonderful stay! We didn’t want our time to end in Bradford-on-Avon. The house had everything we needed for a perfectly lovely uncomfortable stay. The back garden was divine! And the extra little apartment room worked perfectly for our group. We cooked light meals, and we also dined at the Castle Inn, which I would definitely recommend. We enjoyed the town and honestly didn’t want to leave!"

"BED BUGS!!!!!! Room 9 infefected with BED BUGS!! Bitten alive staying in room No9! AVOID I reported this expecting the hotel to take it seriously, deep clean the room, and protect future guests. Unfortunately, the response was shocking. Receptionist, couldnt care less, said unsure what the policy is and someone would call me back. 1x week later no phone call or communication. Called back again, receptionist this time did apologise, but said the duty manager is very busy with event this weekend so I shouldnt expect a call today, they will get back to me when they can. Still havent heard back from them. Last year I stayed in 72 different hotels for work, I on average stay in 2-3 hotels a week. This was the worst for cleanliness and lack of customer care I have ever experience. Terrible - Avoid."

"the Barge is a pub with accomodation in a very good location, about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Although the staff are welcoming and the room was clean, the overall appearance of the pub is that it is shabby and run down. The carpet on the staircase leading to the bedrooms was grubby and had a large hole in it. outside the garden furniture has seen better days and there is a canopy which has come adrift from its fixings and been lashed to the outside bar. However, the draught beer was well kept and tasted brilliant!"

"Superb place to stay with amazing staff and the location was ideal for Bradford on Avon centre and other locations such as Frome and Trowbridge. Enough parking for the number of rooms and they had an EV charger which made life a lot easier (cost was £12 for an overnight charge). Room was very spacious and clean and the whole place just had a very comfortable and relaxed vibe. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices. If we are ever taking a break in this area again this would be our first choice for a place to stay. Also the cost was extremely reasonable taking into account the amenities, which included a small kitchen area which could be used by guests to prepare or heat up food. "

"Home was beautiful! So pretty and peaceful. The kitchen was fully equiped and the beds were comfy. We especially liked the towels and bed linen which was so nice and luxurious. The host was just marvelous helping us when we left my sons Ipad on the outside table. She contacted the neighbours to bring it in whilst we were out in the end she drove over and brought it inside for us. What a relief! Town is also a beautiful place to stay."
