We went for long walks around the fields, ate amazing food in the restaurant at the property, swam in a swimming pool, and enjoyed the area around. Definitely recommend to visit! "We had a 2 night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. Faultless service from the staff in all areas and particularly the restaurant. Spa area and all 3 pools are spotless, just enough loungers, more than enough towels and shade - and on a hot day a beautiful place to chill out after exploring Bath. Bar lounge menus and main restaurant menu are good value, food is excellent."

"My wife and I had a great pit stop at Rose and Crown. Very clean and well maintained property. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in after a long day's travel and sightseeing. The self-serve continental breakfast was equally good. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is very tired, but the owners are trying to tidy it up and decorate. The facilities in the bedroom were poor, nowhere to hang clothes, curtains don't close tv didn't work. Having said that, it is only rated a 2 star and I will certainly stay again both for the quirkiness and the lovely staff."
