Lobby area clean, tidy and modern as was the room. Surrounding area outside also scrupulously clean. I was a bit concerned about staying in a motorway services , but this hotel is a delight.

Easy to get to. Just off A1. Very friendly helpful check in staff. Clean room. Comfy bed, with nice pillows. Had room at the back, very quiet. Will definitely book again if in that area

Lovely staff, very comfy bed. Quiet. Only criticism was the bin bag outside the window, door frame not fixed properly. Tv great and I limited wi-fi a bonus

We have stayed many times at this hotel. This time we stayed for 2 nights. This time the room was not serviced during our stay. Consequently we came back late at night to a dirty room. We did advise reception but they said there was nothing they could do about it. Also the TV did not work all the time we were there. Again we reported it but there was a network problem.

A very good well run property. I have stopped at this particular Days Inn on several occasions before while travelling up North and have always found the standard remains consistent.

Overnight stay just before Christmas
Booked an accessible room and was comfotable and big, as was the toilet/wet room. A washbasin with a plug to hold the water would have been appreciated. We found the mattress a little hard, but that's a personal preference. There was a large light just outside our window to illuminate the pathway, but I found the light from it shone in and disturbed my sleep (again, something that probably relates to me) We had breakfast about 9.15am and found the scrambled egg in particular wasn't very warm. Small critisms as on the whole a good overnight stay.

Good value for type of hotel. The little things count: Modern TV with chrome-cast/ good non-disturb bedside lights/ Good toilet paper quality/ comfortable beds/ 4 pillows. One negative : The room was cold on first arriving

Stayed for one night on a family trip. Hotel was very clean with friendly staff. Room is spacious with a good walk-in shower, only down side was the bed. It was soft and very bouncy. If there are 2 in the bed and 1 needed to move it woke the other person up, it felt like I was sleeping on a bouncy castle. ☹️

Mattress in need of replacement...a bit too lacking in padding for my liking. Room was clean, with all needed amenities. Location was convenient and despite being at a services, i heard no road noise at all. Lots of local food choices.

A quicks one night stay en-route to Newcastle. Family room with double bed and sofa bed didn't feel cramped. Very clean room and comfy bed. Friendly reception service. Recommend.
