Charming Cottage in Ideal Location

The view from the terrace has to be the most beautiful in the country. Absolutely spectacular. And the huge private terrace is wonderful -- I just wish we'd had better weather to enjoy it fully. Because ... that view! The cottage itself is cosy, quirky, comfortable, historic and immaculatly clean. Host David was responsive, friendly and knowledgeable. The location, midway between Whitby and Scarborough, is ideal, and there are numerous walking trails in the area. And did I mention the view!

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location, with stunning views. Ideal for coastal walks and bike rides.

Cottage was cosy and we'll equipped. Lovely features that have been well incorporated into a modern living space. Log burning stove is a nice addition, especially at this time of year. Slightly tight to access the far side of the bed in the double bedroom and the bathroom could do with an upgrade, but everything else was perfect. The garden spaces are very well kept and offer beautiful views of the coast, would be lovely to sit out on a summer evening. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and we would definitely recommend the cottage to our friends and family.
