"Excellent room above a pub in a nice Irish village. Although the pub gets loud (on a Friday night), the room is quiet with the windows closed. Take the DART from Dublin and take the local bus for 2.60 euros. We walked from the DART station with our luggage as it was a nice autumn day, but we did not count on the elevation [we should have as we were literally starting at sea level]."

"Beautiful old historical hotel. Good view of the beach. Very welcoming and helpful staff! Our room was several flights up and there wasn’t an elevator, but staff took our bags up for us. Climbing the steps to our room was like climbing a mountain. Our room was either a closet or an attic with a very small window; there wasn’t a fan nor air conditioning so the space was ver confining. I sat on the toilet and my knees hit the sink."
