"From check-in to check-out, my stay at the St. Helen's Hotel was magical. The lobby and restaurant facilities are so beautiful, and Nadine at check-in was very helpful. Our room was immaculate and full of amenities. Food was abundant, fresh and creatively prepared. We ate twice in the Orangerie Bar, and the manager was a delightfully friendly woman. Breakfast was astonishingly good. I am glad to recommend St. Helen's to family and friends, and hope I can return soon."

"The property itself is beautiful, and I’m sure the rooms look amazing. However, I couldn’t even get past the check-in. My wife and I flew in on a Wednesday morning and got to the hotel and were excited to check in. I even called the day before and told them I land early and I was told they were most certainly accommodate an early check-in by 11 AM because they weren’t sold out of rooms apparently. Upon arriving, the Front Desk personnel that I worked with was already ignorant, rude, and seemed a bit racially motivated. She immediately said we do not do early check-in until 4 PM, however, after I spoke to her and told her I had already confirmed with someone the night before she went to the back, spoke to whoever she had to and came back and said we have a room that’s in ““ Cleaning stages and will be ready shortly. While that was happening, I asked her if there was an upgrade available to a balcony room she said there was she went over and chatted with another Front Desk personnel and granted me the upgrade for free after the other person said sure this was exciting until she told me that this room two is in Cleaning stages and will be ready by 12 PM to which I was fine with however 12 PM came 1 PM came 2 PM came and still no room then she tells me unfortunately I can’t check you in until 4 PM when I explicitly told her I have a wedding at 3 PM to get to. Instead of explaining to me that my original room I booked was ready to go, which another Front Desk person had told me "

"Came here to see the Hothouse Flowers play but was super impressed with the hotel and grounds. This was a lovely getaway vacation and I highly recommend for a quick trip out of Dublin. Get away from the hustle and bustle. Wonderful lobby area, great breakfast. The spa and pool looked amazing but I didn’t get time to utilize. Maybe next time!"

"Excellent hotel in a beautiful setting. Rooms were first class. Only downside, the restaurant was not open in the evening (off season). Breakfast was superb and staff were lovely and helpful. Would highly recommend the hotel. The reception staff were charming and helpful, especially the evening reception staff."

"Our whole stay was amazing. We had the best staff member who cleaned our room, gave us extra towels and made sure we had everything we needed. So helpful and kind. I would recommend anyone going to Ireland to stay here. So close to public transportation and just a wonderful hotel."

"Would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were really friendly and the hotel was immaculate. Unlike other hotels the breakfast was cooked to order and tasted great. We had an evening meal there too which was also lovely. We used the swimming pool too and the underground parking facility meant we didn’t have to worry about finding a place to park. If we come back for another trip to Dublin, we would 100% stay here again."
