"It needs an update to compete at 5 star level. Mini fridge out of order - No cold drinks for us, usb outlets - only some work, AC kinda has its own plan on how to accommodate you. (It was cool enough but profoundly confusing and didn’t really seem To blow much.) staff in the lounge may or may not swing by and welcome you or offer you a drink. I don’t want you to think it’s bad, it’s not! We loved the atmosphere, the people, the beautiful buildings with some funny quirks. Just it takes more that checking all the boxes (in room hairdryer, Ironing board etc etc) to be truly 5 star. Close though!"

"The staff are top-notch! They could not be more accommodating! It’s a five-star hotel with five-star hospitality but without the snobbery. Nang, an esthetician at the spa was especially wonderful…as were the two ladies at the spa reception. The first night one of the staff came up to our room to show us how to use the Nespresso machine and was very warm and professional. And I can’t leave out all the wonderful waiters we had each meal. Again very friendly and most professional. Front desk, Keith and Ciara, were Ace!! All around a most enjoyable visit and I will definitely be back again and again"

"The room, bathroom and the bed were comfortable and clean. I was a bit surprised the there were no 5V usb sockets in the room. The staff were friendly and efficient. The taxi booking service worked perfectly. The fire alarm went off three times on our second day but were cancelled in a few seconds each time."
