"The Scandic Byparken is a friendly, centralized spot to hang your hat during a trip to Bergen. It is super convenient to get to many parts of Bergen - the university, the Floyen funicular and the bus and train stations. All staff were super helpful and made my stay very productive and pleasant. Also: best breakfast in Bergen!"

"The location was perfect for walking to all of the attractions, bars and restaurants! Breakfast buffet was to die for…such a wonderful selection for all tastes!!! Cozy lounge to sit and relax in at the end of the day with a bar if you wanted an alcoholic beverage or coffee/tea if not! Our twin bed room was small but it was clean and well appointed with everything we needed!!! The staff super helpful and friendly! The hotel a short taxi ride to train station! Highly recommend this hotel!"

"This was the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Bed was that comfortable we got an uninterrupted 8 hour sleep on each of our 3 nights there. Breakfast was perfect and the added bonus of a light evening meal made it even better. Each member of staff we encountered was polite & friendly and those we asked gave us great advice on places to see and things to do. I would 100% stay here again. This is a pet friendly hotel and there were a few dogs in rooms on our floor (4th floor) Guests are given door signs to indicate a dog in the room yet we didn't hear a single noise from any of them. Other guests we spoke to were also friendly & polite. Couldn't find a single fault about this hotel. 10 out of 10."

"Location is closed to the fish market and shopping center. Breakfast buffet is excellent. The decor of the room is a bit odd. I hit my head a couple times at the hanging lamp in the center of the room. Room is spacious in nordic standard. Balcony is nice with a view of the city and hills."

"Lucky to have room ready when I arrived early. Lovely clean room. No tea/coffee in room, there is a safe, iron and board also hair dryer. Lock weird when you leave room you need to touch card again to lock. TV in room and sometimes english language programmes can be found."
