"Nice clean room! "

"This is a cheap, older motel, and you get what you expect for the price. All the basics are there - fridge, microwave, wi-fi, practical but not glamorous. There are laundry machines on site. The location for Joshua Tree National Park is unbeatable. There is significant traffic noise from the highway, which goes on late into the night and starts again around 5am. Fortunately I planned on leaving early to catch the sunrise anyway. The pillows were thick and quite firm, memory foam style, which meant they couldn't be shaped to preference. I wish hotels would provide two or three pillows of different types/thicknesses. I didn't try the pool, but one of my fellow guests reported it was very cold, despite the air temperature being in the 80s. "

"there is a beautiful view and the place is funky and fun and I felt very safe - plus, the guy at the desk was very kind and welcoming. However, the place was not very clean and the shower was not working great. It is a deal and worth a stay but the price is low for a reason."

"Unique place to stay. Has beautiful views. Loved the private outdoor/ fire pit. Rooms are small but the attention to detail makes up for it. "

"We couldn’t check in until 330 because of the cleaning lady. There weren’t many games in the game room. The pool is cold. It was not heated. There was no dartboard in the game room and the garbage disposal was broken. The backyard was full of weeds and they were high. It looked better on the website than it did up close and personal."

"The hotel stay itself was good - the breakfast is good and the room was clean. However, nowhere on Expedia does it say that there is a charge for parking. This isn’t in an area where one would expect people to park that don’t belong there. In addition, when I got my credit card bill, they charged me for the room when I had already prepaid through Expedia. I’m waiting for my refund. But I can’t recommend this hotel because of these issues. "
