"Location to Joshua Tree National Park was excellent. Would have been nice to have a real person available to chat with about the area, recommendations for dining, etc. No information available in the room. Nice room and patio with outdoor tub, shower and bed to lie on for star gazing."

"Clean, comfortable stay! The home is situated near the west entrance to Joshua Tree National Park and made for easy access to all the great trailheads. We had two families of 4 and the layout was perfect...one side of the home for kids, the other for adults. The pool was well kept and the heated option was well worth it. The spa could go from 70 to 105 in just a few minutes! The garage game room was a cherry on top. If you're planning a trip to Joshua Tree with family I'd highly recommend this property."

"This is a very nice house on a serene, dark-sky acreage. Communication with the host was pleasant and was very responsive. We saw beautiful sunsets from the private pool, had a short drive into Joshua Tree NP, and spent many hours looking at the stars at night. Great value, pleasant stay."

"The "Stars on the Rocks" property was great! Everyone at the booking agency was incredibly attentive and responded within minutes of any message. The check-in process was easy. Getting to the property was a bit of an adventure, but with a little look at the map we were able to figure it out easy enough.The Pool, Hot Tub, Massive Bathtub and the Projector were stand-out features for us we loved!There were plenty of toiletries, clean towels, kitchen utensils, toilet paper, etc on-site. There is a keurig coffee machine, but not a traditional drip-coffee machine. We just bought pods from Walmart since I couldn't use the ground coffee I had brought.I took lots of photos upon arrival because there was some cosmetic damage to some of the walls, doors and tables inside the unit. It wasn't a huge deal though, it made the property feel less like a hotel and more "lived-in"and the property management let me know they were aware.There are two cameras we noticed on the property. They are mounted outside (VRBO policy), but are pointed directly into the bedroom and living room through the giant windows. This is a tough situation because the listing mentions the cameras are specifically not facing the pool or hottub area, but they look directly into the living quarters. Maybe the camera could be moved to the door looking out to the entryway? We pulled the curtains on the windows and left them shut for the duration of the stay.I highly recommend this property!"
