The Saguaro Palm Springs

8/10 Good

"The hotel is the same as advertised. So if you are expecting what is pictured that is what you get. Hotel staff are nice. The pool is a vibe and the restaurant taco bar has great food. Comments for improvement - the purple carpet everywhere makes the hotel look really dirty. It’s just a hard color to keep clean. Suggest replacing with LVP or hardwood. The $35 daily resort fee is a little excessive - you don’t really get any amenities for that cost. With that said the ability to take bikes out is a nice feature, but they are the creepiest bikes and make you sign a waiver that if damaged you pay $550 (way more expensive than the cost of the bike). The location is great as well, and there is ample parking. The fridge in the room is a bonus and welcomed."

"My partner and I stayed here for Memorial Day Weekend 2026. Pros: - Friendly and attentive staff. - Free self parking - Location (walking distance to restaurants, bars and shops). - Surprisingly comfortable bed. - Clean rooms. Cons: - Noisy air conditioner. It rattled and clicked when it would start from its idle state. It woke me up twice each night and I've dealt with loud ACs but this one was something else. 😵‍💫 - Redundant check-in process. I completed the registration card online prior to physically checking-in. I uploaded my ID, a selfie and entered my credit card information only to be asked for all of these items when I physically check-in. It's not a big deal but what is the purpose to submit everything online if they're going to ask for these things at the time of check-in? - Late check-out. When checking-in, I was told that I would be eligible for a complimentary 1:00 p.m. late check out due my "VIP" status with Orbitz IF the hotel had availability. On the morning of checkout, I received a text stating that I would be eligible for a late checkout of 5:00 p.m. for a $75 fee. I was not interested in that but I asked about my complimentary checkout and they told me the most they could do is give me a 30-minute additional checkout time for 11:30 a.m. Again, not a big deal but this was inconsistent to what I was told at check-in. All things considered, including price and location, our experience was fine and would stay here again for 1 or 2 nights max."

Indian Wells Resort Hotel

"I have been staying at Indian Wells Resort for the past 10 years whenever I visit the Coachella Valley because it is a beautiful resort with a great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, and complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately, this recent stay was disappointing from the moment we arrived. My family & I arrived at approximately 3:47 p.m. & attempted to check in. The front desk associate informed us that our room was not ready yet. I mentioned that check-in time was at 4:00 p.m., & she responded that there were still 13 min. remaining until 4:00. While she was technically correct, her tone & attitude felt unwelcoming & unprofessional. In the past, I have often arrived earlier in the day & my room was already available, so this interaction was surprising. Just 3 min later, the same associate informed me that the room was suddenly ready. This left me confused about why we were initially told it was unavailable. I believe the front desk staff are the first representatives of the hotel, & it is important that guests are greeted with professionalism, respect, & a friendly attitude. Additionally, on the day of our departure, my daughter found a bug crawling on her pillow. We reported it to the front desk, & they said they would investigate the issue. This was the first negative experience I have had at this hotel in 10 years of visiting. I truly hope management addresses these concerns because IWR is still a beautiful property with excellent location with a great staff."

Miracle Springs Resort & Spa

2/10 Terrible

"Impressively bad stay, booked last minute for Memorial Day weekend and had low expectations, but, man they couldn't even meet those. We were greeted by a drunk guest telling us why he hated his marriage then waited a half hour to check in, we were second in line. Smoking and drinking at the filthy main pool mid afternoon with everyone playing their own music super loud. Bartender said they'd been may lose their liquor license if their pool is busted again for outside alcohol. The Merlot was pretty good. Pools were not cared for, missing concrete, standing fetid water all over the place. Ice machine and water station too filthy to use. Room 157 had a view of their chaotic repair trailers, a leak above the shower, only very hot water in shower and pillow cases made of sand paper. I wouldn't put bare feet on the carpet. Clientele seem to think it's spring break, even the 5 who paid for dinner and a show with the "Cher". Do not have your worst enemy stay here... They can do better. There's a "sister" property next door that looks even worse. Beware."
