Excellent
In the next block, at 21600 Ventura, I found a truly inviting cafe called "The Baker". A little pricey but worth every cent... and I intend to visit it next time I'm in town!

Good
I had a friend that lives close by. The area worked for us to be able to visit.
"Best hotel in downtown arguably. We were there for Wednesday night and it seems on that day they have local artist come and perform 3-4 songs for us for anout 3 hours starting at 8pm. The rooftop pool lounge is spectacular. They play the best music. We got the corner studio on the 10th floor and it was breath taking. Felt like a studio apt. Yes there is homelessness. There is homeless ppl in EVERY downtown. Do not make that stop you unless u are one of those scared of life travelers then yes let it stop u lol. Youll see them anywhere u go though. "
"Went for an event at the SoFi Stadium. Good 10 minute walk from the hotel, not bad.
Check in was quick and staff was very friendly!
Construction going on the hotel, but they’re not in the way. Got balcony view of pool. Room was very clean and roomy! Would stay again. "
"Good option to stopover at LAX before continuing on to Hawaii. However, it took a while to figure out that their free airport shuttle only comes if you call the hotel, and getting through was a bit of a stress from a UK mobile"
"Great spot v. close and geared up for universal visit. Parking and bag drop to suit a day or two in the park. Nice pool area and bar. Very professional and quality feel to the place."
