"This is an old style cottage in a rural setting, which does'nt have the best access, however once there the location is surrounded by woodland and fields which are pleasant. The Lady of the house is a charming individual who was welcoming. The breakfast catered for dietary needs and was wholesome. In general a comfortable stay with no frills, but enjoyable none the less. We would use Bridge Cottage again if we visited the area."

Stunning Flat in The Heart of Midhurst Old Town

"This is a very satisfactory stay in the small town of Midhurst. The flat is well-appointed and well-equipped. Remarkably the flat maintained a comfortable temperature during the current heatwave.The property does not have guaranteed parking but it is fair to endorse the owner's observation that the restrictions to street parking outside the property are not enforced. During our stay we saw a single traffic warden in the town who was active only on Midhurst main street solely early on a Saturday morning. Observing other local motorists, they were clearly in the habit of ignoring the local parking restrictions routinely. Over a six day period we did not get a ticket ignoring the regulatory 1 hour restriction although we were not continually present for a whole day any day.Please note that the wifi info and password in the arrival information is different to that in the information leaflet within the property. This is a snag easy to navigate and I'm sure the owner will resolve this before long as the management seems entirely efficient.Our only negative observation is that the electric razor socket is bizarrely sited at the back of the wardrobe and is therefore unusable-- but we electric razor users are used to being persecuted! We unreservedly recommend the property. This is an attractive part of England and there are many interesting places to visit within a short drive."

"Overall, The Clock House in Midhurst was delightful, comfortable and clean. The one problem we had, was the shower. There was no shower mat, rubber or plastic, also there needs to be a grab handle on the tiles, lastly, also on the tiles somewhere to put shower gels etc. Apart from the last comments, a lovely stay Midhurst, Many thanks."

"House was very warm and cosy and we had a comfortable stay and would recommend it. Just a couple of points to bring to your attention for the benefit of others. The bed in the spare single room we assume had a broken base so there was a piece of MDF under the mattress which we caught our leg on a couple of times. The back door was hard to lock amd unlock. Some of the pots and pans were damaged or not thorughly cleaned by the previous occupants perhaps and under the beds could do with a hoover and tidy as we found out when trying to hide Xmas presents! All minor points so hope this is helpful. All in all a lovely place."

"Jon and Tanya were lovely hosts recommending their favourite walking trails in the area. The accomodation had wonderful charm and included everything that we needed for our stay. It was lovely to have parking included too. We highly recommend this stay in this beautiful part of England."
