Barcelo hotels in Yaiza, Canary Islands

We were a family of three, retirees and our 30 yr old daughter with Intellectual Disability. We had an amazingly good holiday at this top class resort. Every aspect of the setting and amenities were excellent. The staff were exceptional in their care and personal attention to detail. We found that, for example, there was a very speedy service in the restaurant. Hotel Fariones was excellent, as always

Really clean, well maintained modern hotel. Gym needs to be extended, there are not enough machines and you or someone else is usually waiting. There should also be a note left in room telling you not to use the tap water for the kettle or coffee machine, we only found out by asking and wer e told under no circumstances to use it. If it is that important, it needs to be noted.

Le linge de lit et la décoration sont très agréables mais le confort de la literie est beaucoup trop mou pour moi. J'ai trouvé aussi la chambre très sombre (1 seule fenêtre pour des pièces de plus de 30m2) et nous avons eu la surprise de devoir payer des suppléments (35€/nuit) pour les lits et petits déjeuners pour notre fille de 4 ans ce qui n'a pas été le cas dans aucun des autres hôtels des deux îles que nous avons visitées... sinon le service, l'accueil et le lieu en lui même sont tout a...

Bright sunny room 3rd floor overlooking the beach.A bottle of champagne on ice,2small bottles of red wine and fruit bowl greeted us on arrival. There were 2 sun loungers for our use on the veranda,also slippers and robes. The air conditioning was very welcome. Terrific food at all mealtimes plenty of choice for everyone. Bus stop across the road and taxis are cheap.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with a smile that continued throughout our stay. Rooms were really nice - spacious and like the entire resort, spotlessly clean. The food was of excellent quality and service was really good. We ate here event night, despite thinking we might go elsewhere for a change. But the food was so good, it was hard to venture out elsewhere. Pool was lovely - very clean and heated, making it ideal for a swim at any time. Comfortable sun loungers and peace...

3rd time staying here and would highly recommend these apartments. Stayed here for 8 nights in one of the 2 bed villas. Reception on arrival was great and the apartments are lovely (even though we didn't stay in one of the refurbished units. My only gripe is the cost of wifi = €8 a day
