"The condo was spacious, clean and well equipped. This came in handy as there is only small breakfast cafe and one restaurant on the property the Pink Octopus. Food is good but menu limited if you are staying for a week. We picked up rotisserie chickens and roasted vegetables from Solomon’s Market one night. It is only a few minutes drive from the property. Driving into town was nerve racking especially if you are not used to driving on the left. Our host Donella was wonderful. When we arrived the power was out due to a construction accident. She stayed in constant contact with us until the power was restored and found a place our daughter could use to study and take an exam. The beach is a short walk with beautiful views. Would recommend water shoes as parts of the beach was rocky. Enjoyed the privacy of the property away from the crowds. "

"Beautiful property and is almost all self-contained. Grocery nearby and downtown only 20 minutes away by car. The condo was comfortable, modern and clean with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. Lovely view of the dock and the boats. Beach club was additional cost and worth it."

"Although this place has an amazing pool bar and beach area, it is pretty far from the condo we stayed in (and we were sold on being beach front/adjacent at minimum). It was a relatively good price for the island from what we gathered looking around, but further from downtown and activities ($100 airport ride when online it said $35-55 avg) and every cab to dinner or Atlantis was $45-55 each way. We had a new condo which was nice for the kids, but we couldn't use one bathroom because the ant problem was so bad. They were all over my daughter's toothbrush the next morning after checkin and we just closed it off after night one. It also smelled terribly upon checkin, as someone had smoked in it prior to our arrival. Housekeeping stopped by with an air freshener and sprayed it around, but we just opened all doors and air it out for several hours and it was much better. Not ideal for non smokers and kids though. All that out of the way, the condo was new and beautiful and having a washer/dryer and kitchen was great. There was a grocery store .75miles away so we walked that a few times and hiked back with stuff that saved us from eating every meal at the pool restaurant. It also had an amazing outdoor gym right outside of the condo, which was great. Nothing like an outdoor workout under the sun! The pools were on the beach at the beach club, and one was adults only (16 and over) but the resort was super family friendly and most of the people there were families. Overall a positive!"

"Winnie was a fantastic hostess and made everything easy! House was exactly as in pictures, and was very well stocked with everything needed for our stay. She also set up a golf cart rental for us! We loved our stay and would definately return."

"We had such a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed our spring break here with family! The location couldn’t have been better—the pool was just steps from the door, which made it so easy to relax and spend time together. The beach was also a short, pleasant walk away and absolutely beautiful.We loved having access to the tennis and pickleball courts and spent a lot of our time there making great memories. The condo itself was fantastic—very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a stress-free stay.The host was excellent—responsive, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!"

"Tropical Haven at 67 Yamacraw Road is in a good location and has strong potential, but our experience did not fully match the listing. Although advertised as “new,” it appears only partially remodeled.The pool area was enjoyable at first but became dirty after a few days and was only cleaned at the end of our stay. Several amenities listed on VRBO were inaccurate, which the owners acknowledged during our visit e.g. no Live TV, no a/c in the kitchen, etc.We encountered multiple issues. Many rooms were missing light bulbs The kitchen was under-equipped, lacking basic items and sufficient utensils, requiring frequent dishwasher use. One of the five advertised bedrooms had no bed, creating inconvenience for our group.Cleanliness and maintenance were concerns. There was mold in the master bedroom, dirty floors, and the kitchen air conditioning was not working. Towels, pillows, and beach supplies were insufficient and worn.Additionally, transportation arranged through the recommended driver "Capt. Kirk" was overpriced compared to other options. The property has strong potential and is in a pleasant setting, with better maintenance and more accurate listing details. Our group rating: 8/10"

"Sean was an excellent host. There was issue with pool and Sean got right on it. It was a perfect place for us because it was quiet. Short walk to beach, which was not busy. Some days all to ourselves. Pool was great and again it was just ours. Grocery store 20 minute walk. AC worked well. It was as advertised. Spent 2 weeks . Would highly recommend staying here."
