Although the word lodge conjures images of a small hideaway, don’t be fooled, these lodges have been bespoke designed to create a large and welcoming living space.

The open plan space has a comfy sofa to relax on, a fabulous dining area for meals or games and a compact kitchen packed with everything you need for your stay including a dishwasher. Two spacious bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms and TVs are perfect for a rejuvenating night’s sleep ready for another exciting day and allow flexible sleeping arrangements whether you are two couples or a family. Outside, you have your decked area complete with private hot tub; it really is the optimum spot to sit back, relax in the bubbles with some bubbly and admire the beautiful landscape in front of you that paints a different picture each day. You have a large, shared grass area between the two lodges, perfect for two or four legged family members to enjoy.

As hard as it will be to tear yourself away from the lodges, when you do you will find a wealth of places to visit nearby. For the motorheads, Haynes Motor Museum is just a 5-minute drive from the lodges where you can discover everything from classic cars to modern marvels at this wonderful attraction. Grab a designer bargain at Clarks Village retail outlet in Street or head to Glastonbury and explore the medieval town and climb the Tor for those amazing views of Somerset. For the foodies head to The Newt, just under a 10-minute drive; this increasingly popular venue is well known for its food, lively atmosphere and even the odd celebrity or two can be spotted passing through. You will also find plenty of National Trust properties nearby such as Lytes Cary Manor and Montacute House, both within a 20-minute drive.
