Stayed here 10 years ago, and it was just as nice as the first time. The hotel itself and the staff & food were all top rate. Our room had a gigantic baolcony and a four poster bed, and a newly redone bathroom. The only complaint is that the mattress needs to be replaced. It was not comfortable at all. Hopefully it is the next thing on their 'to do' list.

We stayed in an executive room with a beautiful view over the village. The inn was very warm and welcoming with cosy nooks and crannies.This 17th century inn has everything you expect in an old building, plenty of character, beams and squeaky floorboards. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was of fine dining quality without the cost. We would highly recommend this inn.

The hotel was perfect for our needs as we were attending a wedding nearby. Very close to Yeovil town centre but far enough away to not be disturbed by too much noise. Staff were polite and the bar area/conservatory were lovely for a snack and quiet pint.
