The staff were very helpful. The bed was very comfortable. Room 401 is in the old part of the hotel, right next to a strongly sprung wooden fire door, which banged badly. The plumbing is old and noisy. The room looks out onto a small dingy untidy courtyard. The car park has many non working light bulbs. The hotel is conveniently located near the outer ring road.

Yes the room was spotless and well equipped, the hotel itself was very nice and a good restaurant and bar , also not very far from the facilities of york ,the park and ride about two minutes away, would stay here again .

The hotel was excellent and a stones throw from the park and ride which was great for going into the centre of York. The hotel itself was great the staff was really polite and helpful nothing was to much for them to do and the meals were very good we will definitely be going back there again
