Edinburgh and Lothian Adventure Holidays

Only positive words to describe our 3 night stay. The hotel is beautiful, staff is so kind and helpful, and room was clean and comfortable with the best view I've ever had in a hotel. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. The local is a quiet, residential street, that is close to many restaurants, bus stops, and airport bus.

Our room was on the first floor, and it was terribly hot and stuffy in the room. The window had to be opened, but the noise from the busy street kept us from sleeping well. The room itself needed some repairs, the carpet was quite dirty and the shower leaked in the bathroom so the floor grout was crumbling. The bed was harder than we like, so wasn’t very comfortable. The front desk was very nice and helpful, but unfortunately the room experience will keep me from going back.

Overall we had a nice stay at the hotel. A few things to bear in mind, there was a very noisy Wetherspoons directly below our room on the third floor, ear plugs are a good idea! We had to remind the hotel to clean our room on a couple of occasions and the towels/flannels in the bathroom were stained. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is ideally placed for all the sites of edinburgh
