Definitely one of my least favorite hotels I've stayed at, beside the great location everything else was mediocre, walked into our room, bathroom was dirty hair everywhere, shower was dirty especially the edges where the walls meet the floor, asked for a reclean and they did, no questions asked which was helpful but still, came back and it was better but atill just a little dirty, hall ways smelled funky, walked into our room later in the evening and a piece of the ceiling fell on my head! would definitely not recommend this hotel to any of my friends and family

The Roseate was a beautiful property and the staff were excellent. We felt welcome as soon as we arrived and had no issues with parking, baggage or settling in.
The location was adjacent to bus services into Edinburgh city centre and within walking distance to train services, convenience stores and cafes / pubs etc.
We would thoroughly recommend a stay at the Roseate if you are headed to Edinburgh
