Decent hotel. Room is big, cleaning job can be improved. Buffet has lots of choices.

Absolutely wonderful!

This is a beautiful resort with excellent customer service. The grounds are immaculate, and our room was lovely. We were upgraded to an ocean view, which was amazing. We chose to do the bed and breakfast option, for we had to work during the week, and I am glad we did for this isn't really a "drink all day" vibe. We had access to the preferred breakfast restaurant and the lounge which we made great use of. The only thing lacking was energy. I have been to secrets resorts in Mexico and they were so much fun. This resort was quite snoozy for us (31, and 32). It was mostly couples 45+, so keep this in mind if you want to go all inclusive and have a more upbeat vibe with more activities. The music by the preferred pool was very quiet and mellow, and the preferred lounge was so quiet you could hear a pin drop - some music would be nice to make the lounge feel more welcoming.

Lovely hotel and super friendly staff. Rooms huge . Areas of wear and tear in rooms. The breakfast buffet was very poor worse one we’ve ever had. Hot food was luke warm. Lunch buffet worse than breakfast buffet . So much so we only used it twice we decided to pay to eat out despite having paid half board. Shame the food seriously lets the hotel down and belonging to such a large chain of hotels this should not be the case

Overall great experience. Hotel is quite beautiful and maintained. Staff were amazing! From the bartenders; (TB, Ramon, Johnathon, Valentino, Jesus), to wait staff; ( Jose, Millie, Elena, and so many more), and the hostess Nathalie Concierge Toni was very informative and helpful We found the Mosaic Restaurant food to be very monotonous as the main Buffett. As we booked all inclusive package, we were still limited to the other restaurants and premium beverages. Our beautiful oceanfront one bedroom suite was stunning and clean. The distance to the beach was a disappointment but they did have a shuttle service once a day As a final note, we would have preferred to have had more access to the other restaurants despite purchasing the all inclusive package with upgrades

The hotel has had a much needed renovation & is looking amazing. Rooms & communal areas are very modern and brand new sunbeds at the pool. Great selection of food at breakfast.

We had a fantastic stay at the Barcelo hotel in Tenerife and would happily return. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. A special mention has to go to the entertainment team, who brought so much energy and fun to each day, and the bar staff, who were always friendly, attentive, and quick with a smile. There was always something going on for those who wanted to get involved, from activities during the day to lively evening entertainment, but it never felt overwhelming if you preferred to relax instead. The balance was just right. The buffet food had a great variety of dishes to choose from each day. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and catered to a range of tastes, so there was always something to look forward to at mealtimes. We were there out of season so can’t comment on the kids club etc as there weren’t many children. Rooms were a great size and clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Overall, it was a great holiday experience with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, great food, and a team of staff who clearly care about making your stay special. Definitely recommended.
