Very comfortable stay, large room with lovely view. Large bathroom with large bath. Highly convenient service area to make tea/coffee and breakfast. Very clean. Historic property with beautiful lounge area. Excellent parking in safe location. Highly convenient to travel to Liverpool and Birkenhead whilst staying in a rural location.

This hotel was chosen because it is directly opposite the Philharmonic. It was perfect in every way. We have been to Liverpool many times and it is convenient for sightseeing and shopping.

Perfectly situated by the train station. Only had breakfast but it was perfect. Everything was kept stocked up and tables were cleaned fairly fast. 8:30 breakfast on a weekday proved to be very busy but apart from finding a table, you wouldn’t have known.
Our room was unbelievable, tea and coffee provided plus a coffee machine. Microwave and toaster in the room and a fridge, there was even a selection of wine/beer glasses.
Shared a king bed with my daughter and didn’t even know she was there it was so wide!!
The only mistake they made was in the attention to cleanliness in the bathroom. Toothpaste splashes on both mirrors, hand prints on the shower door and a towel over the radiator which, by the amount of muck on it, hadn’t been touched in a long time. Not worth worrying about and certainly won’t put me off going again.
