"A little old and dated but with smart upgrades. Great shuttle service.
Excellent and accommodating staff.
Convenient location.
No elevator but only 2 stories."
"curious place
historic so the external bathroom was an understandable feature. Shutting everything at 4pm was not what I expected however! A hotel that charges a high price to stay (at least in my books) but provides no restaurant or bar in the evening when the rooms are all full is not trying hard enough. No explaination from the owner other than it is what it is! Luckily his attitude was more than compensated by the other staff, particularly those at breakfast who helped you start the day with...
"This was a great hotel! Updated and very clean. My one complaint is that my room was right next to the kitchen vent so when we opened the window (which we definitely needed in the warm weather) we smelled kitchen grease.
Other than that, no complaints. The staff was very helpful and friendly."
"Missing blinds on the window coverings. Hole in the bedroom door. Room did not appear to have been cleaned well. Front desk could not find our reservation and when he did told us our room was on the second floor inside. Had to return to the front desk to find out it was outside on the first floor. Paid for a room with two beds. Received a room with one queen bed.
Entire property needs a face lift. Expect more for $350 per night."
