Perfectly located a half block off the Royal Mile, nicely appointed rooms, comfortable beds. Only had 1 meal at the hotel and it was adequate. Nice touches, like Scottish shortbread left in the rooms after cleaning, and water and coffee replenished daily.

Lunchtime so busy and quite a wait for order to be taken. Thai chicken dish was inedible, chewy chicken and returned for another dish. Drinks served punctually. Definitely a very warm welcome. Room located three flights up.Quite a hike for those of us who don’t take lifts. Room was spacious and beautiful, comfortable bed, coffee machine didn’t work. Breakfast excellent and exceptional service. There’s a tripping hazard at the booths where breakfast is served. I tripped and we saw three others trip too on the step. Please address this health and safety issue. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly.

A fantastic place. Perfect location in the city. Wonderful old building with loads of character, renovated to a very high standard. Bar / restaurant is a great place to be. All the staff were fantastic, attentive and friendly. Food is superb. Will stay there again.

Our 4th stay in the Glasshouse Edinburgh. We were upgraded to newly furbished suite. Staff all very helpful and pleasant. Lovely night away. Will book again soon.

I had a wonderful stay here. Hotel and staff were all excellent. Modern cool luxury with no sign of the old fashioned stuffiness that some high end hotels still hang on to. I highly reccommend a stay here.
