The beach was great, staff helpful and food was good. It’s a very large resort but after the first day, we got our bearings.

Had an amazing, relaxing week at the Mirage. The staff made it truly special. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We were able to relax but there was also plenty of fun activities to enjoy when we felt more lively.

Breathtaking property. They do a wonderful job of blending modern comfort with the natural beauty. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Located on the beach, this resort doesn't make you choose between a pool day and a beach day, you can have it all!

The room was not clean. The hot tub was not usable and had black particles if you used the jets. The toilet was not properly cleaned and had urine stains around the seat and the floor, the mirrors were dirty and the couch smelled so bad. There was dust and all On the table and curtains. The food was okay. The breakfast buffet was horrible. It’s the same pre-platted food everyday. I did not like the yellow stained plastic glasses used for the drinks by the pool. They were cracked and dirty. Also there were a lot of restaurants closed on Monday. I just wasn’t aware and had to wait over an hour to be seated at agave. The hostess put my husband and I in the waiting list and we watched her seat multiple Tables before us. I will not elaborate on the service. The entertainment needs to be updated, the food needs to be better, the plastic glass needs to be updated and the rooms need to be properly Cleaned. I really love the excellence collection but the excellence el Carmen is a far cry from what it use to be. I don’t believe the experience was worth the money. However, the fabulous crew at The Grill made my husbands birthday special and I really appreciate the great service and efforts from the staff.

Exceptional service, staff were very attentive and helpful in any way possible. Beautiful and tranquil spot. Room was beautifully decorated and view from the balcony was truly amazing especially dining sunrise.

Beautiful Property, Not a True Luxury Experience At $1,500+ per night, the expectation is a seamless luxury experience. Casa de Campo is visually beautiful, but service and value did not match the price. Check-in required a 25+ minute wait for a “concierge check-in”, while 2 front desk agents remained unoccupied, yet there was no meaningful property overview or proactive assistance. The room was standard at best and consistently humid. We had booked expecting a hot tub, but only select rooms in another section section of the resort have them. Even after a partial adjustment through Expedia, the value was not there. The main pool shows visible wear, and overall upkeep does not reflect a luxury rate. Concierge service lacked initiative. When restaurants were full, we had to prompt alternatives. There was also confusion about what our stay included, despite the high rate, it covered no meals or experiences, only the room and a golf cart. Dining was good overall. Breakfast at Lago stood out thanks to Jael, who delivered the only truly five-star service we experienced. The property and golf course are beautiful, but service precision, clarity, and overall value fall short of true luxury standards.

Constant entertainment, great pools, clean beach, lively vibe, wonderful staff, strong drinks, well-appointed family suites, tons of on-site amenities. Food is a 2/10 but no one cares. That is how fun this place is. We will be back.
