Rooms are somewhat outdated, there may be a carpet stain here or there. The Staff is Super friendly, cheerful, practically everybody. And the food is absolutely 5 Star fantastic!

Lovely hotel. Feels secure and clean. The staff in the restaurant - especially the manager and the chefs in the kitchen - are outstanding and were very helpful with my daughter's allergy to many foods.

A very enjoyable 5 nights stay. Breakfast has something to suit everyone and staff were excellent at keeping food topped-up and plates cleared. Plenty of room around the good sized hotel pool and the activities provided by staff were welcome. The hotel is clean and in good condition, with renovation clearly happening. As we were there at a quiet time, we were given a room upgrade and the room with lounge was spacious and fresh. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops and beaches close-by but the hotel is very peaceful.

All night staff party inside the hotel was unbelievably disruptive and kept us awake! Really appalling from the Barcelo group to host their staff xmas party at the hotel wirh music blasting until all hours of the morning. Your guests have paid to have a top quality expeience and this certainly includes sleep. The hotel did not warn guests about the level or noise, nor did they provide ear plugs or even consider how the noise they caused impacted paying guests. This is not some cheap hotel, I dont expect the staff to keep me awake at night. There was no concern for guests at all and even littlr remorse. I raised it with reception the next morning and the man just laughed it off, he literally shruged and said "it's once a year" like I was the inconsiderate one. I left my room number and asked for my complaint to be passed to managment, not one person contacted me, not even the guest relations manager. The noise statted during the evening entertainment when at least 60 staff congregated in the reception talking very loudly amongst themselves and interrupting the performers. I have never seen anything like this from staff, especially at a supposedly 4 star hotel, the senior management are clearly in favour of this party being held at the hotel which is insane. Take your staff out and treat them to a proper party away from their place of work and respect your guests sleep! For this reason alone, I will not recommend or stay at this hotel again.

Excellent hotel. Welcome drink on arrival. Staff are very friendly. Room appears to have been recently renovated. Hotel was quiet. Largely couples in their 45 - 60s. Perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to relax. Food and drinks weren’t overpriced. No issues with the wifi and there are usb plugs by the bed. Would stay again if in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Esmeralda Homes Aparthotel. Check‑in was simple and straightforward, and the duplex itself was clean, modern, and well appointed. The only feature we weren’t entirely convinced by was the large bathtub on the upper sun terrace — an interesting choice, though we weren’t sure how practical it was. Before arriving, we had been a little concerned about potential construction noise from the two nearby developments, but this turned out to be unnecessary. There was no building activity over the festive period, and our stay was wonderfully peaceful. Overall, we’d happily book and stay at the Esmeralda again in the future.

Old fashioned hotel but in a great spot, the food was decent. The hotel was clean and tidy. Staff friendly and helpful. Big rooms with a great sea view. But more importantly excellent value for money.
