"We had a great nights stay at this hotel and for sure will be returning. The place is spotless and the room was one of the best we’ve stayed in. We felt the spa pool and facilities were well worth the extra paid - it didn’t feel busy at all and felt very clean. Our only reason for not giving 5 stars was the mixed level of staff interactions with us. As you do, we had queries whilst we stayed, but some staff at reception didn’t show the level of service expected of such a hotel, often lacking...

"In the city for a concert and the Dixie Dean was an ideal base for the weekend. We had a 'luxury' room, with two massive beds and the bath was the size of a swimming pool!! The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of selection and regularly stocked up. The waiters didn't stop with topping up coffees and clearing up promptly. High recommended if you're in the city."

"From start to finish this was an excellent experience at the Holiday Inn. Anna on reception was brilliant before we arrived and Dylan checked us in perfectly. A great room and a very positive breakfast experience. Superb."

"The property overall is very good. Great location - the Cavern Club is a 2 min walk, shopping minutes away Albert Dock less than 10 min. The morning Breakfest is perfect. The room and common area’s were also all very clean. We would recommend the the hotel"

"The staff, bar area and room were excellent. However the bed was the worst I have ever attempted to sleep on, at one point in the night I was convinced the floor maybe softer. I achieved about 2 hours of sleep on the mattress and woke up in pain. "
