"When we arrived we wàs informed that the lift was out of order, the receptionist ( owner i think) was really helpful and shown us two different rooms to change to.the continental breakfast was free ,which was lovely. The hotel was in a great location for all the bars etc, shame about the street, lot of hotels abandoned but having said that well worth the money at the arncliffe and would definitely return. "

"Second stay here in the space of 10 days for business. Both stays were excellent, from check in to leaving, I have no criticisms that can be put down to the hotel or the staff. Yes, on last nights stay I had a family (I think) in the room above me who seemed to just be clomping around constantly until about 1030 pm - that’s not the fault of the hotel though, it’s down to consideration for others. As an American I very much appreciate the things that make it different from the big hotel chains. It is quiet, it is personal, it is comfortable and to me “very British” which is a good thing. "We had a great stay at the woodland. Room was spacious, well-equipped and clean. Great location and very close to the centre of Blackpool. We were made to feel very welcome by the host :)"

"Apartment room was good, needed a little more finesse & finishing but reasonable. There were some niggles such as rusty toilet roll holder, shower door that doesn't properly shut, no shelf in the shower room. The main issue however was the entrance & stairs which were very dirty. "

"I like the convenience of walking to many places around. The staff was pretty good. There is a major issue with two things: Quality of the mattress Washing machines were not working. You have only two Peking machines for an entire building. Some are out of order and they are so small that you have to do two loads of laundry. Management or The owner should invest more money to upgrade the room mattresses and the laundry rooms"
