"We really enjoyed our stay at The Fox Hall Inn. Our room was modern, spotlessly clean, comfortable, good value for money, and the free continental breakfast (delivered to our room) was an added bonus! The staff were welcoming and attentive and it was the perfect stop off for a couple of nights whilst visiting Barnard Castle, about 10 minutes away by car. I think a car would be needed to reach the property, but I am unsure of the local bus service. A super hotel which we would use again and would definitely recommend it to family and friends. Thank you!"

"Had a very comfortable stay. Beds really comfy. Staff really good especially Fiona she was very helpful. One little thing shower was too cold and also could do with recycling bins . It was lovely and clean . Have stayed before and would definitely stay again. Durham a lovely city. "

Bar was well stocked, bar service was great Breakfast was adequate with a good range for me as a vegetarian.
