"We enjoyed our stay at The Commodore Hotel. Our room was spotless and the renovated bathroom was great!. It was sometimes hard to tell it is such an old hotel. The old style keys for your rooms is different but kinda cool. The only minor issues for me was the mattress wasn't the most comfortable & the menu in the bar restaurant is a little limited. Overall very good 4.5 stars and we paid a lot less per night then staying in Cork which is just a 20 minute train ride away."

"Lovely room. There is a sitting room attached that has lots of light in the morning and there are no curtains to cover the doors so our room was light at 5:30am. Also, it would be nice if they had a luggage stand so I don’t have to put my luggage on the floor. Nice bathroom, lovely breakfast included. Lots of choices on restaurants to eat within a very short distance. 8-10 min drive to all the downtown night life and shopping. Free parking was very nice in an area it’s hard to find."

"A beautiful property. Very charming. There are donkeys and a dog! The dog is quite elderly and doesn’t like being petted but he's so cute! Top class toiletries and a beautifully appointed room. Some of the surafces were a little dusty. But so cute and relaxing "

"We had a lovely stay at the cottage for 1 week in November. The same parking spot right outside the door of the cottage was always there for us. There was COMPLETE silence even though it is in the town centre. Local takeouts are closeby, within walking distance, also groceries, pharmacy ,cafes etc and by walking distance i mean within 5 mins, at a leisurely pace. Lismore is an extremely quiet town. "Great stay in hotel apt with family. Newly renovated, shower in main bathroom was amazing. Very well equipped kitchen. Did not plan on using the dishwasher or washing machine/ tumble dryer, however they came in very handy when we decided to use the gym while the kids went to kids club and needed to wash our smelly workout gear! Lovely food in the restaurant. All staff very efficient and friendly that we came across, from front desk to maintenance man, to cleaning ladies. Delighted we have found...
