"Alnmouth is lovely and we have stayed there a few times, but the frist time in the Hope and Anchor. Room was compact but very comfortable. Breakfast very tasty. Would recommend staying here."

"Quirky and classy at the same time. Just really enjoyed our stay and admired the buildings and property. Staff were very sweet and kind. Loved the community seating in the dining area- met two lovely ladies and enjoyed conversation. Breakfast was delicious! "

"Nice property, overlooking the sea and harbor. The front entrance isn't intuitively obvious, and there is limited parking, although a pay & display across the road is offered too. The rooms are reached through a series of corridors and it is up and down. The decor was dull and the room needs more lighting, especially the bathroom. Overall it felt like a guest house from 20 years ago. The food was average, breakfast being the worst selection of warm (not hot) food I've had for a long time....

"the hotel needs updating, the rooms were ok but require a little bit of tidying up, paint finger prints on inside bathroom door, cracked tile in bathroom, paint and finishing on walls needs addressing. indian meal amazing, breakfast ok. there needs to be someone in the check in area / bar at all times, i think it loses a lot of trade with there being no one there to greet public. all in all i would give hotel 5/10 indian meal 10/10 kev Lake Leicester"

"Booked 2 Rooms & when we arrived the Host said she wasn't letting out Rooms anymore so we were stuck at 7.30pm with nowhere to stay. Having trouble getting a Refund from you. Definitely wouldn't recommend."
