"This family owned hotel is very clean and conveniently located near Tianmen Cablecar. The hostess made a nice noodle soup with egg for breakfast; he made me feel like home. The only downside is that the hotel is located in an alley. I got to Zhangjiajie at 10p without a phone or anything for that matter. So just know that you will walk through an alley and make a left to another alley. There is another hotel next to this one and an empty coffee shop in front. But beautiful hotel, and very nice...

" Ok, there is both good and bad with this Hotel. Let's start out with the good. The price was good. The room was clean. The room looked nice. The décor was nice. The view from the Balcony in my room was nice, but the view really depended on the weather. if the weather was bad, you could not see the mountains and were just stuck seeing other buildings It had hot water and decent water pressure. The staff was nice but spoke no English. Now for the Bad: On hotels.com, the map shows...

"This place is not a hotel, it's a private residence. People there called the police when I tried to check-in. Had to find something in the area though it was late at night. Tried to contact hotels.com customer service but no clear resolution, still waiting for refund."
