"The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Even though I arrived about 11AM they let me go to my room. Official check in is 3 PM. While in room I lost a gold ring that was found by staff and I am in process of getting it sent to me. All of the staff were extremely helpful. This was the best hotel experience I have ever had and I have travelled throughout the world."

"Everything was lovely, especially liked the extra touches in the bedroom for my daughter (mini robe and slippers, wash set, play book and crayons, plus a cookie). The only let down was this morning at breakfast they were 4 staff short we were told and it was very clear in the service, we waited over 20mins for our drinks, our whole breakfast went were in there about an hour and a half which made us slightly late for check out, it was a shame as it left an amazing stay with a bad ending."

"Great property, but looking a little “tired” in places. Some window frames need replacing, some carpets look dirty . Staff are very helpful but sometimes the IT infrastructure seems to let the customer down. Last point - the bedrooms need more power outlets to cope with all of the devices that people now want to recharge each day"

"Outstanding staff, friendly and accommodating! Room was small, bathroom sink faucet was lose and drained extremely slow…shower allowed significant amount of water to soak floor outside if shower stall. Preppy look, but room main was lacking. "

"Our 4th visit to Chichester, a town we love. The Harbour Hotel is newly decorated and truly lovely. Positives: fridge with water replaced daily, electric kettle, excellent bed with USB chargers at nightstands, towel heater in bath actually worked and there was always plenty of hot water in the walk-in shower. The hotel was very quiet and we loved the views of chimneys and park. The Ship restaurant and bar in the hotel serves fine meals in an elegant setting. Festival Theatre, Pallant House...

"We were there for just one night, prior to a cruise. Getting a taxi the next morning was an issue, as there were 4 cruise ships in port. We were travelling with 4 others, so got 1 taxi for 2 and big luggage, and the rest of us walked to the terminal, a 45 minute walk. Weirdly, the hotel is in the middle of a traffic circle, easily crossed to a beautiful park, close to high street"

It was easy to be satisfied because of the care and attention received from staff. They were friendly, warm and responsive. It’s very easy to say we would stay here again on a return trip"
