If you are booking a Big Bus tour, that is also only a short 5 minute walk to the nearest stop located in el Embarcadero. Short walk to the cable car as well. This was my second stay here and I would definitely recommend. "

"Great location. Near the waterfront and North Beach (you can walk to everything. Unfortunately, my room needed a reno. The carpet, shower head and office chair need to go. I also don't think it was cleaned very well. "

The lobby and grand staircase is always an experience and elevates my stay every time. Appreciate the VIP perks, sad a room upgrade wasnt available, the suites are always a nice treat! Rooms can be on the smaller side and don't always come with a view, but the unique decor and layout allievate any space issues. Close to Union Square, BART/MUNI, and various restaurants. "
