"We booked here as our Daughter was married at Salmesbury Hall ,there was an initial problem on arrival due to a problem with the water pump however Becky and the team could not do enough for us .Comfy beds "

"Staff were friendly but efficient. Everywhere was clean. I particularly enjoyed the use of the gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pool all that looked fairly new. It would have been enhanced by a Jacuzzi but I am not sure where Barton could put one! One potential improvement would be if the room key could be used to operate the car park barrier to avoid having to ask reception to raise the barrier each time I returned to the hotel. "Still a great hotel but things have definitely slipped since my last few visits. Slow check in, bathroom extractor fan not working, partially blocked bath and faulty lights. All small problems but it does point to slipping standards. I’ll give it one more go, based on previous experiences but might have to find another favourite hotel for my trips to Blackpool if things remain the same. "

"Unbelievably comfy beds and could have quite happily took the mattress home with me. Breakfast was yummy and the staff who worked there (on a Sunday) were all helpful and friendly. Only slight issue we had was a toilet that wasn’t fixed properly to the wall, felt like it would collapse at any minute! It was very unnerving! But would definitely stay at the hotel again 🙂"

"We only stayed the one night, and we ate at the restaurant which was really lovely. We had a one bedroom apartment in the courtyard. It was huge. Really comfortable bed and a lovely outdoor seating area. We will definitely go back as we didn’t get chance to use the pool or properly explore the grounds. "
