We opted for breakfast delivered to our room and there was such a lot, bacon sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc. The cabins are laid out in such a way that you forget you have neighbours, so quiet and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing night away. The locals in the bar were very welcoming and friendly. I had a full breakfast, which was excellent, the staff were also very friendly. If you are looking for somewhere to stay, the location is an excellent base for touring the area, and the price of rooms are good value. "

"All the staff at the Anglers Arms were lovely, they couldn’t do enough for you. All the food we had (3 breakfasts &. 1 dinner) was very good. The hotel is in need of some modernisation but we know that Joanne and the team are working on this, given a little time they will get everything right but in the meantime it is still a good place to stay and excellent value."

"Well situated quiet accommodation within easy walking distance of beautiful Alnwick. We stayed in the beautifully appointed Groom’s room which is upstairs in the owners home. It was spacious with a very comfy bed, a sofa, lovely quality furnishings and a table just outside the room where a perfect breakfast was served. David and Bev our hosts were so welcoming and have thought of everything. Absolutely no complaints as everything was top notch and we look forward to returning and hopefully stay...
